I hope you are well and enjoying the late spring. I recently had the opportunity to attend the annual ANCOR conference. One of the Keynote speakers, Alonzo Kelly, said something that struck me at the time and has stuck with me ever since. He spoke about how we can make connections across differences and step back from our assumptions and biases and take the time to see the other person. At one point in his talk, he said, “’I don’t know’ is a loving answer.” I thought this was such a simple yet beautiful and powerful sentence.

Supported employment is a tailored approach to assisting people with disabilities in finding and retaining meaningful employment. The campaign includes targeted communications to community stakeholders highlighting the importance and impact supported employment has in the lives of people who are supported by Aspire.

For the third year in a row, Northeast Delta Dental Foundation has awarded Aspire Living & Learning a grant for $5,000 to help provide preventive and restorative dental care for people with developmental disabilities.
