In my two previous musings, I wrote about impact and learning, two of our three strategic plan goals. I would like to offer some thoughts about Aspire’s third strategic goal – Integration. I look at the goal of integration in two ways. The first is organizationally. Integration is the process of systematizing various processes across Aspire’s operations.
The new Workplace Learning Department is poised to help strengthen and deepen the impact of our work for the people Aspire serves. The Learning & Development Committee, which will fall under the Workplace Learning umbrella, has been hard at work redesigning Aspire’s onboarding and training processes.
Aspire Psychologists Present Research at APA Convention
Three Aspire clinicians piloted a unique online version of a social-emotional curriculum at ALL Academy when pandemic restrictions were in effect. They presented their work this month at the 2022 convention of the American Psychological Association.
Help us spread the word of this exciting new self-advocacy group starting at Aspire for individuals! The first meeting will take place this Thursday, August 18th at 1 PM virtually.
The leaves won’t be the only thing changing this fall-- Aspire will be launching a new employee intranet! Being designed with you in mind, the intranet will be an intuitive and collaborative platform that allows for quick and seamless connections to tools you use throughout your day like UKG, Therap, and Office 365.

We are excited to announce that the Red Sox Foundation has awarded a grant of $2,500 to Aspire. This grant makes field trips possible for 60 students at ALL Academy’s Extended School Year program, by offsetting the cost of transportation, entry fees, and other necessities. Thank you Red Sox Foundation!
In Memorium
Sheri Lupien, long time nurse for New Hampshire programs, passed away last month. She is survived by her sister Eileen Corbett, who also worked as a nurse for NH for more than 30 years. Together they set a high standard of professionalism and care.
Aspire’s Permanency Services program will end on August 31. Unexpectedly, Aspire was not chosen to continue services as the state implements a new model. The entire Permanency team, employees and foster families alike, can be proud of the decades of accomplishment in this program. The impact of this work will continue, in myriad ways.
